AMDS Conference Walden University's Winter Session Research Conference: The Third Annual Conference on Applied Management and Decision Sciences (AMDS 2007): Sponsored by School of Management http://www.amdsconference.org/ January 25-26, 2007 Dallas, Texas, USA Call for Papers from Walden Community The purpose of the conference is to acquaint Walden Community of Learners with the best of recent research and to familiarize researchers with the knowledge needs of 21st Century Practioners. AMDS 2007 is now soliciting papers for presentation at its Winter Residency (January 25-26, 2007) conference. Papers should be based on current theoretical and/or empirical research relevant to practioners and may be from any disciplinary perspective. The previous two annual conferences (AMDS 2005 and AMDS 2006) focused primarily on Applied Management and Decision Sciences perspective. This year we are expanding to all research areas and be from any disciplinary perspective. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and authors invited to present at the conference. Conference proceedings will be published and made available online. Select articles will receive an invitation to be published in The International Journal of Applied Management and Technology (iJAMT, ISSN 1544-4740, http://www.ijamt.org). Submission Details AMDS 2007 welcomes submissions from scholars, scholar-practitioners, and advanced graduate students. All articles submitted must be original work, be scientifically accurate, and represent a level of scholarship and professionalism commensurate with doctoral-level research. Papers should not exceed 2500 words in length. Abstracts are required for all papers submitted and should not exceed 100 words. Materials submitted must adhere to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 5th edition, including the appropriate use of general writing style, grammar, headings, figures, tables, citations, references, and other writing style considerations (see www.apastyle.org/). No manuscript will be considered that has already been published (or is in review for publication) with another conference or journal.
